TradieFlow is an Australian software service being developed for trade businesses. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, join a pilot, or use our services.

1. What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • your name, business name, trade, email address, phone number and service area;
  • information you include in an enquiry, demo request or onboarding conversation;
  • account, subscription and support information if you become a customer;
  • call details, messages, booking details, transcripts or recordings processed on behalf of a customer, where the service is configured to do so; and
  • basic technical and usage information such as device type, browser, pages viewed and referring page.

2. Why we collect it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and arrange product walkthroughs;
  • configure, provide, secure and improve TradieFlow;
  • process bookings, customer communications and support requests on behalf of our business customers;
  • send service notices and, where permitted, relevant product updates; and
  • comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse or fraud.

3. Calls, messages and customer data

When a trade business uses TradieFlow, that business controls the customer information handled through its receptionist, inbox, booking and campaign tools. TradieFlow acts as its service provider. The business remains responsible for giving any notices and obtaining any consents required for call recording, direct marketing and customer communications.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use a customer’s call content, messages or contact list to advertise to those individuals.

4. Who we share information with

We may use trusted service providers for hosting, telecommunications, email, analytics, payments, support and artificial intelligence processing. They may handle information only to provide those services to us and are subject to contractual or legal safeguards. Some providers may process information outside Australia.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

5. Marketing choices

You can ask us to stop sending marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe option or emailing us. Service messages about an active account are not marketing messages.

6. Storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, our legal obligations, dispute resolution and legitimate business records.

7. Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@tradieflow.dev. We may need to verify your identity. If the information belongs to one of our business customers, we may direct the request to that business.

8. Cookies and analytics

We may use essential cookies and privacy-conscious analytics to operate the site, understand broad usage and improve conversion journeys. If we add non-essential tracking, we will update this policy and provide any choice required by law.

9. Complaints

Please email us first so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and our legal obligations evolve. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
